Description
Biotin-labeled anti-rat IFN-γ mouse monoclonal antibody (IgG1, κ)
Clone DB-1 is a highly specific mouse monoclonal antibody against rat IFN-γ (IgG1, κ). DB-1 recognizes and neutralizes both natural and recombinant rat and mouse IFN-γ in vitro and in vivo. The antibody shows no cross-reactivity with IFN-α and IFN-β, or human interferons.
DB-1 is ideal for ELISA, ELISPOT, immunohistochemistry (frozen tissue) and intracellular staining.

Analyte information
Description
IFN-γ is a potent immune regulating cytokine that plays a central role in activating the body’s defense against infections and malignant cells. By enhancing antigen presentation and boosting the activity of T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, IFN-γ drives strong antiviral and anti tumor responses. It is primarily produced by activated T helper 1 (Th1) cells, cytotoxic T cells, γδ T cells, NK cells, and natural killer T (NKT) cells, making it a key indicator of cellular immune activation in research and diagnostic applications.
