QS-4 mouse monoclonal anti-monkey IL-4 antibody (IgG1, κ) recognized and binds natural IL-4 from a range of non-human primate species, including rhesus macaques, cynomolgus monkeys, pig-tailed macaques, barbary macaques, baboons and African green monkeys.
The antibody effectively inhibits IL-4 induced IgE production and IL-4 mediated T cell proliferation.
QS-4 has been validated for us in immunohistochemistry, ELISA and ELISPOT assays.

Description
Interleukin-4 (IL-4) is a key cytokine that plays a central role in regulating the immune system. It is primarily produced by T helper 2 (Th2) cells, but can also be secreted by mast cells, and eosinophils and basophils. IL-4 is involved in several critical immune processes, including IgE class switching in B cell, Th2 cell differentiation, allergic inflammation and defense against parasites.
